We had so much fun at our 'Let's Glow Broulee' disco this morning! Thanks to the P&C for providing the delicious snacks!
For anyone who missed our zooms, here are merit award winners from our Learning From Home period. I look forward to seeing everyone back at school on 25th October, if not before. Congratulations to everyone (parents and students) for making it to the end of a very challenging term - make sure you give yourself a good break over the next two weeks. See you in Term 4!
Good Morning 1M and welcome to week 2 of Learning From Home! New work packs are ready to be collected from school from 9am this morning to cover the upcoming week, and this week we will be using Google Classroom to share videos, photos, games and extra activities to keep you busy at home. The first video for the week is up and ready for you on our Google Classroom!
If you need help getting onto Google Classroom the following video tutorial should help. If you do not know your log in information please send me a Dojo message and I'll get it to you. I will give each family a quick call to check in over the next few days to see if there is anything else I can help out with. Hope you're doing well at home! Over the past 2 weeks we’ve been planning a trip around the world by cruise ship visiting every continent and travelling every ocean. It’s OK to dream.
Some of you may have already started this, however, this would be a good chance to complete a great version. Task: Create a poster advertising your cruise to ports on every continent around the world. Include: - all the ports you’ll visit - some of the oceans you’ll be cruising - some interesting things you might see - lots of colour If you don’t remember the places we planned, it’s OK. Use your own atlas if you have one, or check out Google Earth https://www.google.com.au/earth/ and select some ports. Once done, take a photo of it or, hopefully we’ll all be back next week and you can give me your poster. Wednesday's Daily Task: Nature Scavenger Hunt!
Can you find the following things outside? A stick A dandelion A clover A green leaf A bug A cool rock Go outside and create a pattern (or many patterns) using any materials you find, such as leaves, sticks, rocks, flowers etc.
If you would like to share your pattern with the rest of the class, take a photo of your pattern and send it to Miss Mulcahy on Class Dojo. |
